How can you help?

Weekly Needs:

Weekly Food Pantry: Organize a food drive: needs canned food, staples: beans, rice, cereal, non-perishable items. (Currently providing food to approximately 1,500 people a week)

Weekly Tutorials: Volunteer to coach and tutor children of all ages with their school subjects. Every Wednesday at 7:00PM

Free Classes: ESL, Computer, medical EKG and Sonogram ; Teachers needed Offered as the need arises./

Annual Needs:

November 4-18, 2011: Annual Coat Drive for all ages, children, men and women. Coats given out on Thanksgiving Day

November 24, 2011: Annual Community Thanksgiving Meal 11: 00 AM -1:00 PM

December 1-12: Christmas Gifts for children from birth to 18 years. Christmas gifts distribution December 17, 2011. Financial contributions welcome, we will buy the gifts.

Monetary donations are needed at all times to purchase food from the North Texas Food Bank.

August School Supply Drive: Needs school supplies for all ages.Monetary donations to help purchase school supplies: every year in July/August over 900 students.

Support HOPE Scholarship Fund, provides free books and tuition to Collin Community College students that qualify. To receive a scholarship, students are held accountable and must be regular attendees at the church of their choice, must participate in a monthly community service program and attend a monthly class held at WCF.
