How to hear sermons

The "green arrow" is the link to the actual sermon file. Click on the "green arrow" to hear the sermon. You may wish to download the sermon before listening to it.  Right click on the green arrow and select "Save Link as..." or "Save Target as..."

Sermons will open in a new window or tab.

These sermons are converted to the ".mp3" format.  Most any modern music-playing computer program will handle this format. This includes Windows Media Player, Winamp, Audacity, QuickTime, iTunes, and many more.  It is possible that a .mp3 codec might need to be downloaded. Your program should notify you if you need to download a codec for .mp3 files. (Codec is short for  COder DECoder. This is programming code that handles audio or video files and makes them play on a computer.)

The scripture version used in the popup window is the NET Bible.  The link above this note is to an article that has an useful explanation about the NET Bible and other modern versions.

Note1: When the scripture box opens, near the bottom of the box, there is a link titled "Read More".  Sometimes, hovering the mouse cursor at the top of the words is the only way to make the link active. The "©NET" link can interfere with the "Read More" link if it is directly above the "Read More" link. Careful placement of the mouse cursor should allow you to activate the links. Windows 7 does not seem to have this problem. Note2: The "dash" (-) now works with chapters, as well as verses. It is still cumbersome to designate a range of verses that cross chapters (see May 2009) but that function is still being developed.
